JKBOPEE Officer killed, brother injured in road accident at Qazigund | KNO

Qazigund, May 15 (KNO) : An official of Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) was killed while his brother got injured in a road accident at Vessu area of Qazigund on Wednesday. Reports reaching to KNO said that accident took place in Vessu area of Qazigund in south Kashmir's Anantnag district when a vehicle hit roadside steel bands and turned turtle in between the road. Officials identified the deceased as Sanjay Kumar who was working as Accountant. "He was declared as brought dead at the hospital," an official told KNO. The driver identified as Vinod Kumar has sustained injuries. "He was referred to SKIMS Srinagar for further treatment," an official told KNO. A police officer confirmed to KNO and said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard. (KNO)
